Building and analyzing algorithms
Purpose of the course. To provide students with knowledge about effective methods for constructing and analyzing algorithms, knowledge about various fast classes of algorithms and methods for their construction, as well as skills in working with various data structures and the ability to create effective algorithms to work with these structures.
What this course gives. The course teaches the methods of analysis and the rules for developing effective algorithms for solving practical programming problems. Topics covered in this course are settings and trees, dynamic programming and graphing algorithms, computational geometry and line algorithms, etc.
