Was born - 29 May 1951 in Genje (Azerbaijan)
1973 was educated M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), mechanic-mathematical faculty
Scientific activity: Royal Technical Institute (Stockholm), Lisbon University, Chalmers university (Gothenburg), Munich university, Humboldt university (Berlin), Bogazici university (Istanbul), University of Southern California (Los-Angeles)
Since 1986 member of the Bernoulli World Society in Probability and Mathematical statistics.
1998 (elected) member of the International Statistical Institute
2001 (elected) correspondent member ANAS
2004 (elected) member of the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)
2005 senior associated of the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP)
2008 (elected) member of the Mongolian National Academy of Sciences
