ICT in education
Purpose of the course. This course helps future teachers of informatics to form a system of knowledge and skills in the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. This important goal of the course is related to the development strategy of a modern society based on knowledge and high-performance technologies.
What this course gives. The course is aimed at preparing students for the use of modern information and computer technologies in their future professional teaching activities. This course is practical in nature and allows you to develop new research methods in this area. Students of the course will get acquainted with the Strategy of informatization of education in Azerbaijan, the possibilities and methods of ICT in enhancing the cognitive activity of students, effective methods of assessment and strategies and methods of educational projects as means of enhancing the cognitive activity of students.
Practical application of the course. This course will enable future teachers to address key pedagogical issues related to the effective use of ICT tools in education and apply ICT tools in the learning process.
