Math modeling
Mathematical modeling is taught as a separate subject because it is an important step in studying the functioning of a real existing process or system. The essence of mathematical modeling as a methodology is to replace it with an abstract image, depending on the real objective goal. Therefore, in the learning process, basic concepts are given, such as a mathematical model and mathematical modeling, the goals and stages of mathematical modeling are explained. At the same time, the classification of mathematical models, as well as economic and mathematical models, is explained.
In lectures, in particular, production balance models, linear optimization, transport, dynamic programming, games, etc., such models are considered. Regression models, Monte Carlo method, interpolation method, etc. Using a statistical approach in the study of economic problems. methods are given.
Extensive analysis of models and methods, considered with specific examples, allows students to master the subject perfectly. Knowledge assessment is carried out in the form of control papers, test tasks and oral questionnaires.
