Operations research and game theory.
Operations Research and Game Theory is a science-based mathematical discipline that involves the development and application of mathematical methods to make “best” decisions in solving many problems in various fields of human activity. In the process of teaching this subject, complex systems that are important from both an economic and a managerial point of view are considered, and methods for choosing solutions that ensure the optimality of different goals in different conditions are studied.
The study of linear, full-fledged, parametric, dynamic programming methods, transport problems, game problems associated with decision-making in conflict situations is aimed at conducting accurate mathematical analysis when solving specific problems. The application of the considered methods to solving a large number of problems of economic content serves to better assimilate the material by students, to strengthen mathematical knowledge.
The assessment of knowledge and skills is carried out through written tests, tests, oral surveys and individual work.
