BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1941 in with.Tazakent Lachinsky district of Azerbaijan.
In 1961, he graduated from high school and entered the first course of the mechanics and mathematics department of Azerbaijan (now Baku) State University, which he graduated in 1966.
He has two children.
EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC DEGREES OBTAINED
In 1961 he graduated from high school.
1961-1966 - higher education.
After graduating from university, he was sent to the postgraduate school of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
In 1974 he defended his thesis at the Academic Council of the Rostov State University.
In 1989 he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic "Asymptotic analysis of some spatial problems of the theory of elasticity for hollow bodies" at Leningrad State University.
In 1994 he was awarded the title of professor.
He prepared 18 candidates of science and 2 doctors of science in the field of mechanics of a deformable solid body and applied mathematics.
He is the author of 129 published scientific works (both abroad and in the republic).
In 2001 he was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
In 2014 he was elected a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
In January 1970, he was accepted to the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan as a junior research assistant.
In 1976, he was elected Senior Researcher at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
In 1978 he was appointed to the position of the head of the department “Calculation of thin-walled structures” of the Special Design Bureau of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
In 1985-1991, he worked as a deputy director for research at the CSC.
Since 1991 until 2002, he worked as a professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Baku State University.
From 2002 to 2018 he worked at the post of head. Department of "Mathematical methods of applied analysis."
Since 2008 - Dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 30, 2009 he was awarded the title of Honored Worker of Sciences.
Awarded by the President of Azerbaijan. Res. The Order of Glory.
Awarded with the Jubilee Medal dedicated to the 100th anniversary of BSU.
He is a member of the Bureau of the Department of Physico-Mathematical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
He is a member of the editorial board of the International Peer-Reviewed Scientific-Educational and Applied Journal "Ecological Bulletin" (Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation).
He is a member of the editorial boards of the journals "Baku University", "Mechanics. Engineering" and "Bulletin of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan" series "Physics and Mathematics" ("Mechanics").
