A scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetic
19/12/2020On December 18, 2020, an online scientific seminar was held at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Baku State University. At the seminar, the head of the Department of Informatics, Associate Professor Mubariz Khalilov made a report "Modeling of fluid processes taking into account the phase state".
It was noted that each oil and gas field can be exploited only once, and it is impossible to carry out numerous experiments on these systems, to correct errors in the development process. Therefore, at all stages of the process of developing layered systems, it becomes necessary to use methods of mathematical modeling, computer technologies. Mathematical models of flows are described by differential equations with complex special derivatives. However, it is impossible to solve these equations by analytical methods and to study fluid flows based on them. Consequently, there is a need to use computer technology for mathematical models of fluid flows. The resulting computer program is called fluid flow computer model.
