Center of Social Support for Children with Disabilities will be created at BSU

Baku State University (BSU) and United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding under the CHED Program - the Commission on Higher Education. The Memorandum will be implemented by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of BSU.
According to the Memorandum Professor of Georgetown University Toby Long will deliver the lectures and conduct special trainings for the BSU faculty and students. Along with this, the Memorandum aims to create a Center of the recovery-oriented social services for the children with disabilities and their integration into society.
It should be noted that United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA) was founded in 1998 with a mission to aid long-term development of life in Azerbaijan, with particular focus on children, health and education.
