Academician M.F.Mehdiyev has been working as the dean of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics since 2008. By the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the title of Honored Scientist, he was awarded the Order of Glory. M.F.Mehdiyev is a member of the Bureau of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the editorial board of a number of prestigious journals.
