Meeting with students of Baku State University within the framework of the Erasmus + KA2 project

Meeting with students of Baku State University within the framework of the Erasmus + KA2 project "MAGNUS - Creation of master's degree programs in mobile applications and computer games in partner universities"It was held a meeeting with students of Baku State University within the framework of the Erasmus + KA2 project "MAGNUS - Creation of master's degree programs in mobile applications and computer games in partner universities" on 7 June 2022.
Baku State University has started to participate as a partner university in the Erasmus + KA2 project “MAGNUS - Creation of master's degree programs in mobile applications and computer games in partner universities”  has been funded by the European Union since January 2019.  Linköping University of Sweden, Derby University of Great Britain, Tallinn University of Estonia and Tomar University of Portugal as well as Astrakhan University of the Russian Federation, Voronezh University, Southern Federal University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Baku Engineering University are partners university in this projects.
The purpose of the project is to establish a training laboratory at partner universities at the master's level, along with the opening of a new specialization "Development of mobile applications and game design" and training in this field.
In addition, intensive trainings are held for teachers and students of partner universities in Sweden, Great Britain, Estonia and Portugal also exchange programs with faculty of summer schools and partner universities in Azerbaijan and Russia in order to benefit from the experience of European universities.
The issue of training highly qualified specialists for various fields in the integration of education, science, industry and business was spoken  by the head of the project and head of the Department of Information Technology and Programming, Ph.D., Professor Alakbar Aliyev, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics Aytakin Afandiyeva and teacher of the Department of Information Technology and Programming Parvin Alizadekh at the meeting.
From this point of view, the development of international cooperation, relations with the world's leading universities and scientific institutions and the use of their experience to achieve innovations in science and education is a priority in the development strategy of BSU.
In particular, the speakers informed about the fact that the educational program consists of 120 credits, teaching 21 subjects to masters during the study period and attracting highly qualified personnel to teach subjects in English from BSU, ANAS, labor market.
At the end of the meeting, Mahammad Akhmadov, a first-year master's student majoring in "Development of mobile applications and game design", expressed satisfaction with the modern educational environment and recommended to students continue their education in this specialty in the future.
